In this newsletter, you will find publications of interdisciplinary knowledge and research. The goal is to not solely focus on topics & niche content but rather to explore interdisciplinary knowledge and bridge the gap between what is individual and what is global. This newsletter is for individuals and communities who seek an amalgam of intellectual discoveries.
Who Am I ?
My name is Salma and I go by Floesie as well (if you know me through my social accounts). I started this newsletter for self-expression and ultimately found that self-expression is limited, ironically enough. Throughout this process of self-expression, I found myself wanting to express more than simple personal life experiences and felt called to share teachings, intellectual discoveries and global knowledge.
In this current chapter of my life, I am a professional astrologer/tarot reader while also pursuing a double Bachelor in Art History and Theology. I consider myself a multi-hyphenate and writing is my primary medium of communication/expression.
I always held my cultural heritage near to my heart and my inspirations. I was born and raised in Morocco, in a family that always treasured pursuits of higher learning. I lived in multiple cities and countries throughout my life which fostered a sense of continuous curiosity and deeper explorations. My core experiences of immersive foreign cultures were in Dakar, Lyon then Montreal. My Amazigh and Andalusian ancestry continues to be the driving force of my all creative and intellectual pursuits. In all my projects and intellectual inspirations, I am constantly consulting with my family, primarily my grandfather who was the precursor of my artistic path, as an autodidact himself, he taught me to write, to read and to open my mind to various disciplines. Our way of connecting until this day continues to encompass esoteric knowledge, Sufi teachings, Poetry, Music and more.
My life is more than just simple personal experiences, it is also an integration of all my knowledge for spiritual and artistic ascensions.
